Where are we?
Pousada Santorini is located in Armação dos Búzios, a peninsula known for its calm, crystal-clear waters, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The Atlantic Forest, coastal vegetation, wetlands, and rocky mangroves make up this landscape, where rocky coastlines frame 23 beaches, each with its own charm.
One of the most interesting geographical features of our location is the ability to walk to several beaches: João Fernandes is 3 minutes away, João Fernandinho is 5 minutes away, Praia Azeda is 8 minutes away, Ossos is 10 minutes away, and Armação is 15 minutes away.

Our experience at the Santorini Inn was wonderful: from choosing our room, with a breathtaking ocean view, to the incredibly thoughtful breakfast—everything was fresh and delicious. But without a doubt, the highlight of the inn is the staff, especially Airton, who welcomed us as soon as we arrived, showed us to our room, and explained everything we needed to know with great kindness. And we can’t forget to mention Fabiano, who served our wine with great care and even prepared—as a complimentary gesture for my husband’s birthday—the best caipirinha we’ve ever tasted. The inn even treated us to a delicious surprise birthday cake at breakfast. Another highlight was chatting with Mr. Rolf, the inn’s owner and a truly charming person, who told us the whole story of this paradise in João Fernandes—the Santorini Inn. All in all, it was a dream weekend that we plan to repeat soon.

The staff’s service is excellent, and you can really tell that every guest is important to them—they pay attention to every detail. The facilities are impeccable; everything is very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options, and the view from the Pousada is simply unbeatable. Without a doubt, a place we’d love to return to!

The inn is spectacular, with top-notch staff—Israel, Airton, and the dear Mr. Elias, who’s a sweetheart—and the others too; it’s a shame I don’t remember everyone’s names.
Congratulations also to the ladies in the kitchen, the gardener, and the bartender.
Overall, the service is top-notch.

The cleanliness is impeccable in every room. The bedding and towels are of excellent quality, very comfortable, and smell wonderful, reflecting the inn’s attention to every detail. Breakfast also deserves special mention: it’s very complete, varied, and prepared with great care.
I’d like to extend a special thank you to Mr. Rolf, the inn’s owner, whose politeness and hospitality are admirable. Always very attentive, friendly, and with a smile on his face, he makes a point of welcoming every guest warmly. I’d also like to praise the friendliness of the front desk staff, especially Carlos, who is always helpful and kind, as well as Luciana, who prepares breakfast with great care. You all truly make a difference and make the experience even more special.

Who are we?
Pousada Santorini reopened its doors in December 2022 after two years of extensive renovation and expansion. Our main goal is to offer you a “Santorini Experience,” which means a personalized and warm stay.
We are a couple: Jaqueline, a Brazilian textile artist and writer, and Rolf, a German engineer who also makes artisanal jams and cachaça. Thanks to our extensive experience traveling the world, we’ve always dreamed of owning a guesthouse where we could welcome our friends and family.
